Paul Labile Pogba (born 15 March 1993) is a French professional footballer who is a player with Premier League club Manchester United and for the France national team. He plays primarily as an attacking midfielder but could also play as a left-winger defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder and a playmaker who is deep-lying.
The birthplace of Pogba was Lagny-Sur-Marne, Pogba joined the youth team of Ligue 1 side Le Havre in 2007 before an extended transfer took Pogba to the club of Manchester United two years later. After he began his professional career at Manchester United two years later but only a handful of appearances convinced Pogba to leave to join Italian club Juventus in a transfer for free in 2012. He played in 4 consecutive Serie A titles, along with the two Coppa Italy and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. While in Italy, Pogba further established himself as one of the most promising young players around the world and was awarded the Golden Boy award in 2013 which was followed by his first Bravo Award in 2014. In 2016 Pogba was selected to the 2014 UEFA Team of the Year as well as his 2015 FIFA FIFPro World XI, following his contribution to helping Juventus to reach the final of the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final, their first final in 12 years.
The performance of Pogba in the club of Juventus brought him back to Manchester United in 2016 for the world record transfer cost in the amount of EUR105 million (PS89.3 million). This was the largest amount ever paid to an English club at the time. In his first season since returning to the club, he has crowned the League Cup and the Europa League. The 2018-19 campaign saw him included as a member of the PFA Team of the Year.

Pogba is born in Lagny-sur-Marne, Seine-et-Marne, to Guinean parents. He is Muslim. There are two brothers that are twins and are Florentin and Mathias born in Guinea and who are players with the Guinean national team. Florentin is currently a defensive player with FC Sochaux-Montbeliard, while Mathias is a player for ASM Belfort. As a child, Pogba was a fan of Arsenal.
