Vinicius Jose de Oliveira Jr. (born on July 12, 2000) is commonly referred to Vinicius Junior (born 12 July 2000), also known as Vinicius Junior or Vini Jr. (Brazilian Portuguese: ), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays the position of forward for the Spanish team Real Madrid and the Brazil national team.
Vinicius was born in Sao Goncalo, Vinicius began his professional career with Flamengo in Brazil, where Vinicius made his debut for the senior team in the year 2017 at 16. Just a few days later Vinicius became an option for a transfer into La Liga club Real Madrid where the player signed the record-setting national for a U-18 player. The deal was worth the sum of R$191million (EUR45 million) agreement, which was put into effect following the age of 18.

International career
On the 30th of October, 2015, Vinicius Junior was selected to Brazil by Coach Guilherme Dalla Dea in preparation for the South American U-15 Championship. Vinicius and Brazil have crowned the champions of the U-15 age group and he finished 2nd highest scorer in the tournament, scoring seven goals. Vinicius was named the winner of the tournament and continued to impress which led him to persuade Flamengo to join the club before his 16th birthday. On June 24, 2016, Vinicius was invited up to play in a friendly match against Chile U-17. He scored two goals as well as assistance in the 4-2 win.
In March of 2017, Vinicius made his debut at Brazil’s South American U-17 Championship for Brazil with a goal in the 3-0 win over Peru. However, he sustained an injury when at Real Madrid, and David Neres was picked in during March. Then, in May, Neres was removed from Brazil’s final 23-man team of this year’s Copa America by manager Tite. He made his first senior international debut on September 10, as a substitute in the 72nd minute of Brazil’s 1-0 loss to Peru.
Vinicius was selected for the Brazil 2021 Copa America squad on 9 June 2021.
