Billie Eilish is an American artist and singer. She is most well-known for her hit debut track, Ocean Eyes. She was was raised in Los Angeles, California. As a member of an extended family of musicians and singers, she was bound to be a professional in the performing arts. She began singing in an ensemble at the age of 8 and at the age of 11she was creating and performing her own music. Her older brother Finneas O’Connell, was the most influential person on her life as she was growing to. He was a member of the band of his own and composed a hit song called Ocean Eyes. Billie Eilish performed the song and then released it on the internet. The song became a huge success. It was her first major breakthrough. Her brother was instrumental in helping to record the track Bellyache. Following the record’s success, Billie released her debut EP, Don’t Smile at Me in August 2017. The EP debuted on numerous American and international charts. In September of 2017, Apple named her the newest up-and-coming artist. Then, she released her debut record when we all Fall Into Sleep Where Do We go? in March 2019 and followed it up with the album Happier than Ever In July 2021.
