Vinegar is a good mold-killer and disinfectant, so it’s effective to use it when cleaning moldy utensils. To make the vinegar solution, prepare a large tub full of water, then pour about three cups of white vinegar into it. Soak your pottery in a tub with a diluted solution of vinegar. After about 40 minutes, wash it with water and keep it in the sun for a while. Also spray the vinegar or vinegar solution directly on the pot, leave it for about an hour then wipe it off with a wet cloth. As soon as the vinegar penetrates the soil, it will kill the fungus at the root and help prevent further growth.

To remove fungus from utensils, mix a few drops of neem oil in a solution of dish soap detergent and use the solution to wipe away the fungus. In no time the fungus comes out of the utensils and this oil is not harmful in any way.
