Motorola is going to launch its two new premium smartphones in India soon. These phones can be known as Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. Both these phones will be upgraded versions of Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion.
The company has not yet introduced these phones officially, but information about their specifications and features has been received from many leaks and reports.
Motorola teased launch event in April
Motorola recently teased a launch event which will take place on April 3 in Delhi. However, the company has not yet given any information about which devices will be launched in this event. But it is being speculated that the company can introduce Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion smartphones in this event.

Motorola has also shared a post on Twitter which shows a smartphone with a curved display and reads “New Age”. It is believed that this is Edge 50 Pro only.
Estimated specifications of Motorola Edge 50 Pro
According to leaked reports, the Edge 50 Pro will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display whose refresh rate can go up to 165Hz. The phone will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will get Android 14 based clean stock Android UI. RAM and storage options are not clear yet.
Talking about the battery and camera department, it will have a 4,500mAh battery that will support 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera setup will have a triple rear camera setup that will include a 50MP OIS supported primary lens, a telephoto lens with 6X optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. A 50MP front camera can be available for selfie.
The phone is also expected to have Gorilla Glass 5 protection with IP68 rating. Color options may include black, blue and beige. You will get leather like texture on the back part.
Features of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion
On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will also have a 6.7-inch polarized display but will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
The rear camera setup will have a 50MP primary lens while a 32MP front camera will be available for selfies. The battery will be 5,000mAh which will support 68W fast charging. IP68 rating and Gorilla Glass 5 protection may also be available in this phone.
Expected price and launch date
No official information has been received yet about the prices of the phones. However, according to reports, the starting price of Motorola Edge 50 Pro can start from Rs 89,990. Whereas Edge 50 Fusion can be launched at a price less than Rs 49,990. Both the phones can be launched in India on April 3.
