Leonardo Bonucci Cavaliere, OMRI (Italian pronunciation: born on May 1, 1987) is an Italian professional footballer who plays the position of center-back in the Serie A side Juventus and also for the Italy National team.
Following his first professional start with Inter Milan in 2005, Bonucci went on to spend the next couple of years on loan with Treviso and Pisa before making the move towards Bari at the end of 2009. His skill, ball-playing abilities, and defensive performance with his fellow Italian center-back Andrea Ranocchia earned him a transfer to Juventus the following year, where he was later an integral part of Juventus’ three-man defensive line, along with Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli and establishing himself among the top defenders in football. Personal life
On 18 June 2011, Bonucci married Martina Maccari (b. 19th November, 1985) who was a blogger and model, who first came across during 2008 via an acquaintance acquaintance.
