Kasper Peter Schmeichel (pronounced Kasper Peter Schmeichel; born on 5 November, 1985) is a Danish professional footballer, who plays the role of goalkeeper with Premier League club Leicester City as well as Denmark the national side. At Manchester City, Schmeichel was selected to the Denmark national team under-19 in August 2004 and made his debut for the international team in a 0-0 draw against Northern Ireland on 2 September 2004. Kasper Schmeichel Manchester City

Kasper was signed by League Two side, Darlington on loan in January 2006, when Kasper made his first-team professional debut in the match against Peterborough United at the 96.6 TFM Arena on January 14th, 2006.
