Johnny Depp appeared to be mocking the playing of a voice that Amber Heard called himself “Junkie Johnny” in court during the former couple’s multimillion-dollar defamation lawsuit.

Ms. Heard took the stand for a third day of testimony on Monday, as the trial continued after a week’s hiatus.

He told the court he was “juggling” how to face “different versions” of Mr Depp and which version to take.

In the audio recording played in court, Ms. Heard says: “Then I get different versions of it. I whip the insecure or scared version of him in a different setting each time.

“So if it’s Adderall or Junkie Johnny, then he’s abusive, a tyrant, and rude.”

At the mention of “Junkie Johnny”, Mr. Depp, head down as he took notes at the time, was seen smiling, raising his shoulders.
