Jan Oblak (born 7 January 1993) is a Slovenian professional footballer who is the goalkeeper for the Spanish team Atletico Madrid and captains the Slovenia national team. He is frequently considered to be one of the top goalkeepers around the globe.

Oblak is the son of the Slovenian father Matjaz Oblak Matjaz Oblak, as well as a Bosnian Serb mother Stojanka Majkic. The older brother, Teja Oblak (born 1990) is an experienced basketball player and is a part of the Slovenia national team.
