Actress Flora Saini, who was seen in the superhit film Stree with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, recently shared her experiences in the film industry. Flora has worked in both South and Bollywood film industry and she clearly said that she has to face a lot of mental trouble due to Bollywood industry.

During those ten years, whenever I went to Mumbai, I did not get any advertisements. When I used to go for auditions, I was told that I needed to lose weight and I used to feel very mentally disturbed to hear this.

She further said that during that time when I used to go back to South Industry from Mumbai, I used to feel very disappointed, but when I used to go to South Industry, people used to give priority to some healthy actresses, then I used to do good work there. He said that I have a love-hate relationship with food. This has been very difficult for me. I used to go hungry for several days and then eat a lot at once. Even when I did not eat for several days, I used to get depressed and get upset even after eating too much at one go.

Flora further said that you open any magazine and you will realize that such a beauty standard has been set in the industry which is far from reality. I have seen so many healthy people who used to be happy, their faces glowing but then they got caught up in such toxic beauty standards. We don’t need to follow all this.
