NPH is again facing tons of backlash from online users after a picture of an Amy Winehouse cake from the 2011 Halloween party resurfaced online.
The controversial cake was allegedly made nearly three months after Winehouse’s death at the age of 27.
In 2011, Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s husband, Justin Mikita, tweeted from his official Twitter account. Shortly after, however, Mikita, after the argument, the photo of the cake started to catch fire.

The origin of Neil Patrick Harris’ Halloween party cake remains unclear. But when it came to seeing the light, the photo made a huge splash on the internet.
According to the photograph, tested by Justin Mikita, it showcases a mutilated and decomposing print of Amy Winehouse’s corpse.
The cake was reportedly displayed on a tray resembling a stretcher. It is alleged that there is a note on it that reads ‘Amy Winehouse’s Body’.
The controversial cake depicted the Rehabilitation artist as a corpse. It showed the deceased musician with rotting eyes and tongue sticking out of his mouth.
The hyper-realistic cake even showed skin patterns that mimicked the rot that had taken over his body. He also had an autopsy mark on his chest area, possibly to depict Winehouse’s postmortem wound.

Many fans took to various social media platforms to address Neil Patrick Harris, who presented the tasteless corpse cake.
One cake critic said, ‘What’s wrong with Neil Patrick Harris? This is very disturbing.
One Reddit user said, ‘Wow. This is so insanely inappropriate. My jaw dropped.’
“I didn’t expect the pie to be this graphic, it’s so sickening,” another user said.
One Twitter user said, “I’m literally sick to my stomach after seeing this. It’s so wrong and tasteless.’
The painting has reappeared many times over the years. The 48-year-old star received tons of hate from fans and social media users each time.
Many Twitter users described the photo as ‘insensitive’ and ‘tasteless’.
Users were more upset and disgusted when the actor showed off the cake just months after Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning.
