Marco Verratti Cavaliere OMRI (Italian pronunciation: born on 5 November 1992) is an Italian professional footballer who is an attacking midfielder at Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and for the Italy national team. It is widely regarded as one of the top midfielders around the world.

Childhood and early life
Verratti is a native of Pescara and was raised in Manoppello. As a youngster He rooted for Juventus and admired Alessandro Del Piero, the team’s Italian international offensive player.
