Wendell Horace Moore Jr. (born September 18 2001) is an American basketball college player with the Duke Blue Devils of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Career in high school

Moore was a student at Cox Mill High School in Concord, North Carolina. In the 2015-16 school year, as a freshman Moore started every game played and recorded 17.9 points. He also had 8.6 rebounding, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals to lead his team win an overall record of 22-8 and the sectional championship. In the 2016-17 season as a sophomore the team played every game and scored 25.0 points. He also had 9.2 rebounding, 3.9 assists as well as 2.3 steals in helping the team achieve an impressive 27-6 record and win the 3A state championship. In 2017-18, as a junior He became one of the fastest players to reach 1000 career points within Cabarrus County public school history and his average was 25.4 points. 7.3 rebounding, 2.9 assists as well as 2.3 steals, which helped his team win an overall record of 29-3 and a second consecutive 3A state championship.

Recruiting

On the 8th of October, 2018, Moore announced that he will be attending Duke University and play for the Blue Devils during the 2019-20 season. Career in college
