After this, when the CISF jawans saw the girl on the wall, their hands swelled, the soldiers present around tried to convince the girl and said that she should get off the wall but the girl did not agree to obey.
A 25-year-old woman allegedly attempted to kill herself by jumping off a building at Delhi Metro’s Akshardham station on Thursday morning, but was saved by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel.

Fortunately, the security staff noticed his move and immediately informed the authorities. However, his life has been saved. The reason for his suicide attempt is still unknown.
In a video of the incident, CISF personnel are seen persuading the woman to back down after seeing her on the edge of the terrace. Officials said she waited for some time before jumping off the terrace, but by that time the CISF and Metro staff had covered her with blankets and suffered minor injuries.
“A CISF employee spotted the girl (above the building) and informed other personnel around 7.30 am. Some people were trying to persuade her to step back from the edge of the roof but she was not listening to them.
We sent officers to the ground floor to prevent a fatal fall. They brought a thick blanket. When she jumped, she fell on the blanket,” said an officer.
“The girl suffered minor injuries to her legs due to the fall and was sent to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. He is stable. Local police and CATS ambulance were also called,” the official said.

When the CISF personnel saw the girl standing on the wall, her hands and feet swelled. Then the CISF soldiers tried to convince the girl and asked her to get off the wall but the girl did not agree to obey.

The CISF personnel kept the girl entangled in the talks, on the other hand, the CISF personnel reached with a sheet under the wall so that if the girl jumps and falls down, then she can be saved with the help of a sheet. At the same time, the quick reaction team also called the local police and ambulance.
